Ringeriike
This image was found carved on a flat bone recovered during excavations of a Viking settlement in Dublin. It is identical to one found near the Scandinavian village of Ringeriike. It is thought to show a powerful animal in the process of devouring another. The Vikings first arrived in Ireland in the 8th century and were known as Norsemen or Danes.
