| Aengus saw a beautiful maiden, Caer, in a vision and searched the length and breadth of the land to find her. Caer lived as a maiden one year and as a swan the next. When at last Aengus found her she was a swan on a lake and he called her name. She went to him, they embraced each other and he too became a swan. They flew three times around the lake and then on to Brugh na Boinne, the home of his father. "You will see her with a hundred other swans at the Lake of the Dragon's Mouth." |
