Setanta
Setanta returns to Eamhain Macha with the heads of three conquered warriors, a fine stag and twenty swans - the results of the child warriors first outing. He is still in a battle rage (riastradh); his hair is spiked, one eye is monstrously large and his body shaking. He is threatening to slaughter all. Conchobhar orders the women of Eamhain to go out naked to him, whereupon Setanta covers his face and the warriors of Ulster seize him and plunge him into succeeding vats of cold water to return him to normal. " ....The name of him who mounts his first chariot this day will live forever in Ireland..."
